ZAGREB, May 14 (Hina) - Police forces from Jastrebarsko, some 30 km south of Zagreb, in cooperation with Karlovac police and military police, on Thursday arrested two brothers for stealing arms and ammunition from a Karlovac barracks.
One of the brothers, aged 19, who was doing military service in Karlovac, was stealing weapons and ammunition from his barracks, which his brother then hid in their house near Jastrebarsko. A search of the house yielded 11 pistols of different types, three machine-guns and 5,253 pieces of different ammunition. The police also discovered several optic devices and binoculars, for which it was established that they belong to the Karlovac barracks. The police also found another two pistols, one gun, a crossbow, and several optic devices and equipment, for which it still has not been established where they were stolen. The police have pressed criminal charges against the two
