ZAGREB, Apr 21 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament's House of Representatives concluded the second day of its 39th session on Thursday with criticism levelled at government proposals to raise taxes on personal and other motor vehicles,
boats, and aircraft, and to introduce special taxes on luxury products. Opposition representatives said the government had made a "poor choice" by choosing luxury products, including pearls, jewels, watches and lighters made of precious metal, arms, footwear and clothes of fur and reptile skin, for a 20 percent tax to be added to value added tax.(hina) ha
