ZAGREB, May 13 (Hina) - A Croatian Government delegation headed by Assistant Economy Minister Neven Mimica, on Thursday ended negotiations with Israeli Government representatives about two agreements -- a trade and economic
cooperation agreement and an agreement on the stimulation and protection of investments, the Economy Ministry said in a statement Thursday. The negotiations, held for four days in Israel, ended by initialling of the two agreements. They will be signed during Croatian president Franjo Tudjman's visit to Israel. Once the agreements come into effect, a necessary institutional framework will be created for trade, economic cooperation and investments on equal levels and without discrimination between the two countries. As Croatia has not yet become a member of the World Trade Organisation, Croatia's exports into Israel was possible only with import licenses, which prevented any kind of increase of exports from

negotiations with Israeli Government representatives about two

The signing of the above mentioned agreements will create
conditions for the signing of other agreements in the fields of

Besides Economy Ministry representatives, present at the talks
were also representatives of the Foreign Ministry and Finance
