LISBON, May 11 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic on Tuesday arrived in Lisbon for a three-day official visit to Portugal. Minister Granic and Portugal's highest-ranking officials will hold talks about a stability pact in
south-eastern Europe, Portugal's support to Croatia in approaching Euro-Atlantic integration, and stronger bilateral relations. On Wednesday and Thursday, Croatia's Foreign Minister will meet Portuguese counterpart Jaime Gama, on whose invitation he arrived in Portugal, Premier Antonio Gruteress, and President Jorge Sampaio. Early next year, Portugal will preside the European Union, and Granic's visit should assess the possibilities of Portugal's support to Croatia's approaching the EU, but NATO and the Western European Union as well.
