ZAGREB, April 16 (Hina) - Croatian and Slovene Interior Ministers,

the cooperation, the Kosovo crisis and the accommodation of Kosovo
refugees.
After the Zagreb talks, the ministers told reporters about very
good cooperation in all fields, particularly in the fight against
organised and white-collar crimes.
Commenting on the humanitarian disaster in Kosovo and its impact on
Croatia and Slovenia, Penic said both countries were giving their
exceptional contributions to bringing an end to the disaster.
From the end of 1998 to date Croatia accepted about 5,000 Kosovo
refugees, Penic said adding that his country was ready to provide
further accommodation for new refugees.
Penic said Croatian and Slovene officials were aware of dangers
posed by illegal crossings over the border, particularly from
Bosnia-Herzegovina. The international community has agreed that
such cases should be prevented, the Croatian minister added.
The Slovene minister Suklje said the Croatian and Slovene police
were co-operating well in efforts to prevent illegal migrations
across state borders.
He added that his country had accommodated about 2,500 Kosovo
refugees so far.
