The Government's delegation was headed by Justice Minister Zvonimir Separovic. "At this holy site we bow down to the victims of Fascism and to all other victims fallen for freedom ad our democratic, independent state," Separovic wrote while signing the visitors' book. After that he recalled that Croatia had never given up anti-Fascism and that it was now the only country to have a member of the anti- Fascist movement for its President. "Croatia gave great contribution to anti-Fascism, and therefore it has all reasons to be included into the struggle for peace, human rights, freedom and democracy," Separovic said adding that anti- Fascism had been just one stage in the creation of the free Croatia.
