ZAGREB, April 29 (Hina) - A nine-member strike committee of NAMA, a Croatian chain of stores, today continued their hunger strike, on which they went on Tuesday. Strikers are carrying out this action in front of the main offices of
the Privredna Banka Zagreb (PBZ), which used to be a majority owner of NAMA. They are insisting on the start of the rehabilitation of NAMA, the-rescheduling of the company's debt toward the PBZ and the enrolment of new owners in the book of shareholders. The committee is striking in front of the PBZ offices in Zagreb as they regard that this bank has encumbered NAMA with unfavourable loans. After the bank withdrew from the ownership structure of the company, it mortgaged a part of NAMA property since the company was in arrears. In this way the bank thwarted new owners, privatisation investment funds - Velebit and Expandia - to be included in the list of shareholders. On the

On the third day of the hunger strike, protesters are feeling well
and persist with their efforts, said the leader of the strike
committee, Dragica Petrinjak, on Thursday.
