SKOPJE, May 8 (Hina) - Macedonia's President Kiro Gligorov forwarded his personal message to President of Yugoslavia (Serbia/Montenegro), Slobodan Milosevic, in connection with the Kosovo crisis, Gligorov's office said on Friday
night. The letter's contents have not been disclosed. Macedonia's Interior Minister Pavle Trajanov sent letters to his counterparts in NATO member-countries, the Russian Federation and Bulgaria, calling on them to accept a larger number of refugees. Trajanov's letter underscored the complex situation in Macedonia, caused by the fact that over 240,000 Kosovo refugees have poured into this Balkan country and that more Kosovans are likely to seek shelter in Macedonia. Such a situation can seriously affect the national security, the public peace and order as well as the economic, social and political stability in this country and the entire region, the Minister wrote in the letter.
