ZAGREB, May 3 (Hina) - Political and economic relations between Croatia and Russia are very good despite objective difficulties, Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) president Nadan Vidosevic and the newly appointed Russian Ambassador
to Croatia, Edward Leonidovic-Kuzmin, said after talks in Zagreb on Monday. The two officials assessed Croatian President Franjo Tudjman's visit to Moscow in December 1998 was a significant factor in the strengthening of the two countries' relations. Kuzmin presented two concrete motions aimed at improving economic relations, i.e. Russia's participation at the Zagreb Trade Fair as a partner country, and expanded cooperation between the regions.
