ZAGREB, April 12 (Hina) - Croatian National Bank (HNB) governor Marko Skreb and Finance Minister Borislav Skegro held talks with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank about continued cooperation and
financial support to Croatia during their visit to Washington last week, the HNB said Monday. Croatian officials also visited the US finance department, where they held talks with American officials about the economic situation in Croatia, and the repercussions NATO strikes against Yugoslavia have on Croatian economy. Marko Skreb and Finance Minister Borislav Skegro held talks with
representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World
Bank about continued cooperation and financial support to Croatia
during their visit to Washington last week, the HNB said Monday.
Croatian officials also visited the US finance department, where
they held talks with American officials about the economic
situation in Croatia, and the repercussions NATO strikes against
Yugoslavia have on Croatian economy.
US officials expressed interest in the fiscal consolidation of

The talks will continue in late April, at the spring annual session
of the IMF and World Bank, at which Croatian delegations will be
present, the Croatian National Bank said.
