DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, April 27 (Hina) - The first central European forum on cooperation between the Red Cross organisations started in a southern Croatian resort near Dubrovnik on Tuesday. The central topic of the meeting is
cooperation between national Red Cross organisations in providing help for Kosovo refugees. The conference, organised by the Croatian Red Cross, is attended by representatives from Canada, the Netherlands, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, Great Britain, Norway and Finland. Present at the opening was also the president of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, Astrid Heiberg. Addressing the gathered, the president of the Croatian Red Cross, Jadranko Crnic, said Croatia can help other countries because of its experience, not only with advice but with concrete activities in the field.(hina) jn rml
