MILAN CALLS ON TOURISTS TO VISIT CROATIA MILAN, April 27 (Hina/AR) - Croatia is a safe country to spend holidays in, regardless of the situation in Kosovo and Yugoslavia, Croatian officials told a news conference at the Croatian general consulate in Milan on Tuesday. Addressing the news conference were General Consul Frane Mitrovic and a representative of the Croatian Tourism Association in Milan, Bruna Pestic. Croatia is far from the zone of conflict and guests are guaranteed the same level of safety as in any other democratic country, the two officials told reporters. They expressed gratitude to Italian tourists for their trust and the fact that they had visited Croatia at times when the situation was much more dangerous due to the conflict in Bosnia.
