RIJEKA, Apr 15 (Hina) - Croatia's bank Rijecka Banka's profit in 1998 reached US$12.54 million, head of management Ivan Stokic told reporters in the northern port of Rijeka on Thursday, pointing out that is 73 percent more than in
1997. Stokic said he would suggest to the bank council to direct US$2.18 million into dividends, and US$10.37 million into legal reserves, in order to considerably strengthen the capital stock. The state agency for the protection of savings deposits and the financial rehabilitation of banks on Tuesday signed an agreement with two well-respected foreign consulting companies which will estimate the value of Rijecka Banka and provide advice for the its further privatisation.(hina) ha jn
