CHICAGO CHICAGO, April 7 (Hina) - Some two hundred business people, representatives of American and Croatian political and public life gathered in Chicago on Wednesday at a conference on trade and business opportunities in Croatia,
taking part as part of the "Croatia in Chicago" manifestation. Under the chairmanship of former US Assistant Commerce Secretary, Raymond Vickery, participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the political situation in Croatia and its environment, which was the focus of a speech by Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic. Finance Minister Borislav Skegro spoke about macroeconomic indicators, and Croatian Chamber of Commerce president Nadan Vidosevic about the legal framework of business dealings with Croatia.
