VUKOVAR VUKOVAR, April 15 (Hina) - Councillors of the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar decided unanimously to declare President Franjo Tudjman as a honorary citizen of Vukovar. According to the citation, read by Zdenka Buljan, the
head of committee for awards, Croatian President Tudjman has been declared an honorary citizen of Vukovar because of everything he had done while performing his duties as a statesman on the path toward the establishment of the independent, democratic and internationally recognised Republic of Croatia and because of everything he has done for Vukovar. President Tudjman will receive the charter on his being proclaimedVukovar's honorary citizen at the formal session of the city council on the day of the town, May 3.
