DJAKOVO, Apr 13 (Hina) - An assistant bishop of the Djakovo-Srijem diocese, along the Croatian-Yugoslav border, was on Tuesday granted permission by the Yugoslav Army HQ to return to Croatia. Bishop Djuro Gasparovic has been in the
Yugoslav part of the diocese since Maunday Thursday. Gasparovic today visited Belgrade and the Yugoslav Ministry of Faiths, whose Commission for Relations with Religious Communities mediated in the issuing of the bishop's return permit. Gasparovic told Hina over the phone he would return to Croatia on Thursday or Monday. He will previously visit several other Catholic parishes in Yugoslavia. The bishop was allowed to move freely, and encountered no difficulties in his meetings with the Catholic faithful.
