According to official figures, Macedonia has so far hosted at least
130,000 Kosovans.
After Migjen Kelmendi, a representative of Kosovo Albanian media
held talks at the German Foreign Ministry and British Foreign
Office, he gave an interview to the BBC Radio in the programme in the
Albanian language on Thursday. Kelmendi said the latest Serbian
offensive had destroyed the basic system of broadcasting in
Albanian in Kosovo.
According to him, Western officials pledged to help set up an
Albanian information centre in Macedonia, dedicated on collecting
and offering relevant information about Kosovo. A daily or a radio
station with programme for Kosovo is also to be established.
