PRISTINA, March 19 (Hina) - Serb forces and the Kosovo Liberation Army resumed fighting on Friday, particularly in the region between Vucitrn and Kosovska Mitrovica, Albanian sources reported. The Kosovo Information Centre (KIC)
reported that Serb forces fired shells on KLA's positions near Kosovska Mitrovica. The head of the Committee for Human Rights and Freedoms in Vucitrn, Sabit Kadriu, on Friday said that one Albanian was killed in the clashes near Vucitrn. The KIC reported that Albanian villages in the Podujevo region were shelled, adding that a new Serb convoy arrived to the region Friday morning. According to the Serb-run Media Centre in Pristina, armed Albanians on Friday morning launched an attack on Yugoslav border police and a Serb police patrol which was securing the Kacanik-General Jankovic road, near the Kosovo-Macedonian border.(hina) it lml
