SERB FORCES ATTACK KOSOVO BORDER AREAS

PRISTINA, March 12 (Hina) - Serb forces launched new attacks on villages in areas of Vucitrn and Kosovska Mitrovica, the Kosovo Information Centre (KIC) reported on Friday. The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) confirmed several of those attacks, adding bodies of Kosovo Albanians were found near the village of Jeskovo, south of Prizren. Albanian sources in Pristina reported that almost 20,000 Kosovo Albanians fled their homes in villages south and east of Vucitrn due to the latest attacks. Serbian Information Minister Aleksandar Vucic accused Albania of "media aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and open support to the terrorist movement in Kosovo". At a press conference held in Pristina on Friday, Vucic on behalf of Serbian citizens and state bodies expressed dissatisfaction with the behaviour of certain members of OSCE's verification mission to Kosovo. Vucic particularly criticised the head of OSCE's verification mission to Kosovo, William Walker, who, according to Vucic, made several immoderate statements against Serbia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
