THE HAGUE, April 7 (Hina) - The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia has severed relations with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Deputy Chief Prosecutor Graham Blewitt told reporters in The Hague on
Wednesday. Blewitt said the Yugoslav Embassy in The Hague was refusing to accept any documents from the Tribunal or the Prosecutor's Office. Two weeks ago, officials at the Yugoslav Embassy refused to accept documents which the Tribunal's employees wanted to hand them. The Yugoslav authorities have not yet explained the cancellation of cooperation in any form of official communication. The cancellation of relations with the Tribunal occurred at the time of NATO's attacks on Belgrade, Blewitt said adding he believed the situation was only temporary.(hina) jn rml
