HDZ BH ON LEUTAR AT SPECIAL SESSION

MOSTAR, Mar 29 (Hina) - The president of the largest Bosnian Croat party, the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BH), on Monday called for a cessation of "terror and fear" in Bosnia. HDZ BH president Ante Jelavic opened a special party meeting in Mostar with a speech on the late party presidency member and deputy interior minister of Bosnia's Croat-Muslim Federation, Jozo Leutar. Bosnian Croat Leutar succumbed on Sunday morning to injuries suffered in an attempt on his life earlier this month. Jelavic emphasised that Leutar, "by living his own Croathood in the fullness of freedom, had become the target of those who see no future for Bosnia-Herzegovina." "Instead of false tears and sympathy, (Bosnian Croats) wish to finally see action (...) Join me in saying - stop terror. Enough of fear," Jelavic said. Croats in Bosnia call for open dialogue on a possible and self- sustaining Bosnia-Herzegovina, "to avoid set-ups, mutual suspicion, and causes of future unhappiness," Jelavic said.
