BANJA LUKA, March 24 (Hina) - The parliament of the Bosnian Serb
entity, Republika Srpska, on Wednesday adopted a special statement
regarding the Kosovo crisis and condemned "NATO threats by force to
the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia" and expressed readiness to
provide any kind of help to Serbia and Yugoslavia.
At an extraordinary session held in Banja Luka, the Assembly of the
Bosnian Serb entity endorsed the statement with 60 votes pro and 10
against.
According to the statement the FRY is exposed to NATO threats
"because of the refusal to accept the occupation of a part of its
territory".
The parliament believes that NATO air strikes demonstrated
aggression, and demanded of the Untied Nations to prevent the
attack.
The Bosnian-Serb parliament said it "prohibits the use of Republika
Srpska territory for any kind of strikes against the FRY".
The other Bosnian entity, the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
also forwarded a request to the international community to prevent
such activities.
The Republika Srpska Assembly concluded that NATO strikes on Serb
military targets demonstrated a disaster and "an introduction to a
new war which would expand outside of the former Yugoslavia
territory and the Balkans".
