SFOR IMPOUNDS TWO LORRIES FULL WITH ARMS NEAR BRCKO

SARAJEVO, Feb 25 (Hina) - The NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia-Herzegovina seized two trucks loaded with arms and ammunition near Brcko, north-eastern Bosnia, on Thursday morning. An SFOR spokesman said in Sarajevo that lorries were discovered during a routine check-up of facilities of local infantry and air base forces. The spokesman David Scanlon could not say precisely whom the impounded weaponry belonged to. He added that an investigation into the case was under way to establish all details. The confiscated arms and ammunition included 134 tank shells, six anti-tank systems dubbed "Red Arrow", 18 anti-aircraft rockets of the SA-7 type and three multiple-rocket launchers. A part of the municipality of Brcko is within the Croat-Moslem Federation, while the town of Brcko on the right bank of the Sava river is under the Bosnian Serb control.
