SARAJEVO, March 24 (Hina) - The command of the NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia received assurances from Bosnian Serb senior officials that authorities in the Serb entity would exercise restraint in case of escalation of
the Kosovo crisis and would not let it threaten the security situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina, a spokeswoman for SFOR said in Sarajevo on Wednesday. The spokeswoman Sheen Thomson described the current situation in Bosnia as calm, although increased tension could be noticed among local population in the Serb entity. SFOR members are continuing their regular duties such as occasional check-up of roads and military compounds and other activities aimed at enforcing the Dayton accords, Thomson told the HINA correspondent. However, the German "Lufthansa" air company on Tuesday cancelled
the regular flight from Munich to the Bosnian capital due to great
security risks.
Other companies that ensure air services toward Sarajevo, Banja
Luka and Mostar have not cancelled flights yet.
