PRISTINA, March 24 (Hina) - One member of the Kosovo Liberation Army was killed in Wednesday's clashes between the KLA and Serb Forces in the regions of Podujevo, Vucitrn, Kacanik, and Decani in this southern Yugoslav province. The
Kosovo Information Centre (KIC) reported that Serb forces have been attacking the Drenica region, and particularly the Kosovska Mitrovica area since this morning. A large number of Albanian refugees arrived in Vucitrn. At noon, Serb forces entered the village of Donje Studine and set Albanian houses afire. Donje Studine residents and residents of another four neighbouring villages fled their homes and were headed towards Vucitrn. four days already, adding there was no information on people who
remained in the town.
Two Kosovo Albanians were killed in a coffee house in Kosovska
Mitrovica on Monday evening when unidentified persons opened fire
from machine guns, the KIC reported.
Attacks were also launched on Albanian villages in Central Kosovo
and near the Kosovo-Macedonian border.
Serb sources have not yet commented on the attacks.
