We have been working on two separate programmes in Bosnia-
Herzegovina for three years - the work with political parties and
the work with civilians - Binda said adding that they were now
launching the parliamentary programme in this country.
She stressed that the NDI was working only with those parties which
had asked for its assistance. At the moment we are co-operating with
about 20 parties in Bosnia, Binda said.
We are not here to impose anything. The NHI is one of the political
parties that asked for cooperation, she explained.
A member of the New Croatian Initiative presidency, Ivo Zivkovic,
voiced satisfaction with the event in Orasje and announced that
similar seminars would be held for NHI members in other Bosnian
municipalities and towns.
