CROATIAN MINISTERS HOLD TALKS WITH ISRAELI AMBASSADOR

ZAGREB, March 8 (Hina) - How to improve political and economic cooperation between Croatia and Israel was the main topic of talks held by Croatian Finance Minister Borislav Skegro and Israeli Ambassador to Croatia, Nathan Meron, in Zagreb on Monday. Minister Skegro and Ambassador Meron discussed different aspects of the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and considered the cooperation between Croatian and Israeli firms particularly in the sectors of tourism and agriculture, read a statement issued by the Croatian Finance Ministry today. It added that the two officials had also talked about political aspects of the mutual interest. Israeli Ambassador Nathan Meron with the seat in Vienna, was received by Croatian Labour and Social Welfare Minister Joso Skara on Friday, the Social Welfare Ministry reported today. During Friday's meeting Minister Skara and Ambassador Meron considered the forthcoming visit of this Croatian Minister to Israel. There Skara will hold talks with his Israeli counterpart, Eliyh Yishai, and exchanged experience in the work of the two ministries, in the reform of the pension system and social welfare as well as in the creation of jobs.
