ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) and the Chamber of Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria (HWK) agreed to continue their cooperation at talks held in Zagreb on Tuesday. A total of 10,500 trainees have
participated in a project of education in commerce, so far the largest project of the two chambers. Another 1,080 students obtained diplomas of commerce assistants. The cooperation between the two chambers started in 1995 with an agreement on cooperation in advancing commerce, aimed at overcoming the consequences of the anti-entrepreneurship policy of the Communist system. As the leading German chamber of commerce, with 58,000 companies, the HWK has been assisting Hungary and Slovenia in organising their chambers of commerce for years.
