ALBANIA'S VICE PREMIER MEETS CROATIAN PARLIAMENTARIANS

TIRANA, March 2 (Hina) - Albania and Croatia share the same stands on the regional cooperation and both countries are satisfied with a level of their bilateral political ties, said Albania's Vice Premier, Ilir Metan, on Tuesday after his meeting with a delegation of the Croatian members of the parliament. But, both countries also want to promote further their economic relations, he added. I hope the economic cooperation will improve since both countries have great possibilities and potentials, Metan said after the talks with representatives of the Croatian parliamentary foreign affairs committee, led by its head, Zarko Domljan, who arrived in Tirana on Sunday on a three-day working visit to Albania. Meta added that his country had an affinity for Croatia's efforts to join European integration processes. He said the two countries had similar views on the regional cooperation and greeted Croatia's activities in the Central European Initiative. We appreciate very much the role of Croatia which chaired the Central European Initiative last year and gave a new incentive to the cooperation within this organisation, the Albanian official said.
