BELGRADE, March 2 (Hina) - The Albanian side will sign the Kosovo peace agreement on March 15, Veton Surroi, editor-in-chief of the Albanian-language daily "Koha Ditore", said on Tuesday in an interview with Radio B92. Surroi, who was
also a member of the Kosovo Albanian delegation at the peace talks in Rambouillet, said he believed that the signing of the agreement would mark the "end of negotiations". The process of disarming Albanians "will develop simultaneously with the process of building a security umbrella and the establishment of local police forces", Surroi said adding the coming months would be crucial for the peace process in the province. There is a critical mass of citizens in Kosovo who want peace, he added. Surroi said he hoped that the spirit of democratisation, contained in the Kosovo agreement, would start to live not only in Kosovo but in Belgrade as well.(hina) rml
