return of displaced persons to Bosnia, so that finally, after six and a half years, the return of exiled Croats and others to Bosanska Posavina could commence. ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina) - The Association of Displaced and Exiled
Croats of Bosanska Posavina called on all displaced Croats to
return to their homes in Bosanska Posavina (Bosnian Serb Republika
Srpska).
The Croats advocated a multi-way return of displaced persons to
Bosnia, so that finally, after six and a half years, the return of
exiled Croats and others to Bosanska Posavina could commence.
The region became a part of Republika Srpska after the signing of
the Dayton peace agreement.
"The ethnic cleansing policy especially accentuated in Republika
Srpska must be dismissed," the Association's president, Mate Gogic
said.
In order for the return to Bosanska Posavina to happen, a multi-
ethnic police should be set up in accordance with the 1991 census to
ensure freedom of movement, life and the work of returnees, he
said.
The Association asked the harmonisation of the Serb entity's
Constitution with that of Bosnia-Herzegovina, particularly the
section which stipulates that all three peoples in Bosnia-
Herzegovina were constitutive and sovereign on every part of
Bosnian territory.
