ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - Sessions of the House of Representatives' Committee for National Security and Internal Affairs could soon be held behind closed doors, if the Croatian National Sabor adopts changes to the House of
Representatives' Rule Book, proposed by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). The changes were proposed on Tuesday by the Lower House's Committee for the Constitution, Rule Book and Political System. The Committee's president Vladimir Seks told today's session of the Committee that all European parliaments were applying this procedure. Also, according to the proposed changes, sessions of the National Security Committee would not be attended by other parliamentary representatives, should the Committee members decide so. The group of six Opposition parties, called the "Opposition Six",
asked that the National Security Committee publicly debate the work
of intelligence services, accusing them of abusing their powers.
