PRESIDENT MESIC RECEIVES SECI BUSINESS ADVISORY COUNCIL REPS

ZAGREB, Dec 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Monday received a delegation of the Business Advisory Council of the South East Cooperation Initiative (SECI). Projects initiated by SECI, in which Croatia is taking part, and cooperation with countries in the region were the main subject of the talks. The Business Advisory Council is a SECI advisory body comprising business people from the region and around the world. The SECI was established in 1996 by the United States with the aim of stirring economic and ecological cooperation among countries in Southeast Europe and facilitate their entry into Euro-Atlantic associations. Member-countries are Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldavia, Turkey and Yugoslavia.(hina) lml
