ZAGREB, Dec 4 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stjepan Mesic will not ask for the protection of the testimony he gave before the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Mesic's spokeswoman Vjera Suman told reporters
on Monday afternoon. She reiterated President Mesic's opinion that he had nothing against that an ICTY indictee, Bosnian Croat General Tihomir Blaskic, revealed details from his testimony. President Mesic, however could not speak any more about it as he was bound by rules to keep secret what he said on that occasion. In relation to the forthcoming first anniversary of the death of the first Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, spokeswoman Suman said, the Office of the President had laid a wreath on Tudjman's grave on All the Souls' Days and had no particular programme for the anniversary on 10 December.(hina) ms
