ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Thursday received the Croatian Railways Management Chairman, Marijan Drempetic, and the Slovenian Railways Director-General, Igor Zajec. Mesic, Drempetic and Zajec discussed
the successful cooperation between these two companies, and agreed that the confirmation of this cooperation was a jointly prepared programme for the railways' joining pan-European Corridor Ten. The two directors informed President Mesic about attempts to set up a joint lobby of the Croatian and Slovenian railways so that all cargo transport could be taken from road to railway lines. In this way safety and security of road traffic can be improved and ecological problems lessened, Drempetic and Zajec asserted.
