GOVT SUGGESTS RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT TO COE DEVELOPMENT BANK

ZAGREB, Sept 14 (Hina) - Representatives of the Council of Europe Development Bank arrived in Croatia with a grant for an additional loan of 135 million euro for the fiedls of social sciences and social care, Croatian Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac told Government members at Thursday's session. The Bank's representatives who visited the Finance Ministry Thursday morning, described the Government's economy and political programme as one of the most successful varieties of transitional policy, Crkvenac said. The Government on Thursday forwarded a proposal to the Council of Europe Development Bank for the reconstruction of cultural heritage -- the Franciscan monastery Little Brothers in Dubrovnik, which the Bank would finance through a loan of nine million kuna (about US$1 million).
