The SSSH supports the tax policy of the incumbent Government, Juric said asserting it would not burden the living standards of workers. The SSSH leader voiced satisfaction that a new labour law incorporated a majority of proposals unions had given such as the right to the strike action and employers' obligation to calculate and give a statement on the salary for each worker each month, regardless whether it could be paid. Juric said the economic situation was particularly grave in southern Croatia as "Dalmatia was systematically destroyed in last ten years and was the heart of the process of tycoonisation in Croatia."
