Government on Friday sent into the parliamentary procedure a draft strategy and a plan of a reform of the health system and health insurance, a draft reform of the power industry, and a set of bills which should be discussed during an extraordinary session of the Croatian National Sabor's upper and lower houses in mid-July. This set of bills also includes bills on eliminating some discrepancies in pensions and on changes to the Labour, Bankruptcy and Privatisation Laws. The draft health reform aims at curbing the increase of health expenses and securing the stability of the health system, as well as at strengthening the preventive and primary health care and re-organising the system of financing and payment of health services.
