ANKARA, June 26 (Hina) - Azerbaijan's President Hajdar Alijev has accepted Croatian President Stipe Mesic's invitation to visit Croatia this year. Alijev was handed the invitation in Baku on Monday by Croatia's Ankara-based Ambassador
to Azerbaijan Ivica Tomic, and on thos occasion invited President Mesic to visit Azerbaijan. The exact dates of both visits will be defined later by diplomatic route. President Alijev thanked Croatia's for supporting Azerbaijan's access to the Council of Europe, especially in connection with the preservation of its territorial integrity and sovereignty. During talks with Ambassador Tomcic, Azerbaijan's President
learned more about the programme of Croatia's new government,
