VUKOVAR-Diplomacija HANS KOSCHNICK VISITS VUKOVAR VUKOVAR, June 5 (Hina) - The head of the committee for refugees within the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe, Hans Koschnick, who is in an official visit to Croatia, visited the
eastern Croatia town of Vukovar Monday. Accompanied by head of the Arbaiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) regional office in Vukovar Hugo van Veghel, Koschnick visited residential object in Vukovar which have been reconstructed with the held of the European Union. Koschnick told reporters he visited Vukovar in order to be informed of the way European money was being spent. It is very important to help people to overcome war sufferings and apart from the reconstruction of houses, we should offer them hope, he said, adding that what happened to Vukovar must not be forgotten.
