ZAGREB ON FRIDAY ZAGREB, June 1 (Hina) - National co-ordinators of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe are to hold a session in Zagreb on Friday to discuss preparations for the planned meeting of a regional working table at
which the Pact's Special Co-ordinator Bodo Hombach will present an Agenda of Stability. The agenda, a plan for the enhancement of the Pact's work, will be promoted at the meeting, scheduled for 8 June in Salonika. According to Croatian diplomatic sources, the agenda contains minor changes for better effectiveness and transparency of the Pact. Tomorrow in Zagreb regional co-ordinators should consider results of a regional financial conference, financial mechanisms of the Pact, the assessment of mechanisms of working tables and the strengthening of the region's role. Friday to discuss preparations for the planned meeting of a
regional working table at which the Pact's Special Co-ordinator

According to Croatian diplomatic sources, the agenda contains
minor changes for better effectiveness and transparency of the
Pact.
Tomorrow in Zagreb regional co-ordinators should consider results

Present at the Zagreb event will be delegations from Albania,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia,
Romania, Slovenia, Turkey as well as representatives of Montenegro
and Portugal, that is holding now the rotating presidency of the EU,
France which will succeed Portugal, United States' officials and
European Commission representatives, besides Croatian officials.
Commenting on achievements the Pact has so far made, the Croatian
diplomatic sources said "the political success of the Pact is
beyond doubt", as it has connected countries in the region, which
are trying to come closer to the EU and NATO through the cooperation
and this Pact.
The field where the Pact, however, has not fulfilled completely its
task is an operational level.
"There are too many priorities" and it is advisable to review them,
the same sources added.
