ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) - The Croatian National Parliament's House of Counties will begin its 42nd session on Tuesday with a discussion on draft amendments to the Law on excise tax on oil products. A total of eight items will be on the
House agenda, including a resolution requesting the termination of cooperation with the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague. The resolution was motioned by the Croatian Party of Rights and Christian Democrats of Medjimurje coalition, which was petitioned by another dozen MPs. The agenda will be supplemented with a packet of some dozen laws which would increase excise tax and decrease contributions and pension and health insurance. The laws was forwarded into Parliament by the government last week. The Upper House Committee for Economy and Finances supported the packet of laws on Friday.(hina) lml jn
