SARAJEVO, May 19 (Hina) - The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Bosnia-Herzegovina (BH) on Friday reported an official decision had been passed to call general elections in BH for November 11. The
decision was made by the temporary electoral commission at a meeting held in Sarajevo, the Mission said in a statement. The decision is based on recommendations by OSCE's Permanent Council which discussed the elections last week. The Permanent Council decided the BH elections would be held on the basis of temporary electoral rules and regulations due to the fact that BH's parliament had still not adopted a permanent electoral law. The statement says BH's citizens will elect a new composition of the House of Representatives, as well as new compositions for the parliaments of BH's two entities, the Croat-Muslim federation and the Bosnian Serb republic.
