What happened here is without precedent ... and says a lot about the
maturity of the country and people, Jorda said, assessing Zagreb's
conduct would strengthen Croatia's position in the world.
Jorda took part in the work of an international symposium on the
work of the ICTY in the Adriatic summer resort of Opatija.
For the first time since his election in 1994 as ICTY president has
Jorda visited a country in the jurisdiction of the Tribunal.
After his stay in Opatija, Jorda will meet Croatian President Stipe
Mesic on Wednesday night.
