ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan, Deputy Prime Minister Slavko Linic and European Integration Minister Ivan Jakovcic on Thursday met a delegation of the Parliamentary Group of the European Socialists, the
Government's Public Relations Office said in a statement. The delegation included Enrique Baron, Pierre Schori, Hannes Swoboda, and Jannis Sakellariou. The delegation congratulated the Prime Minister on the victory in the recent election, greeting the new direction the Croatian policy was taking after the recent changes, as well as progress in the implementation of democratic reforms. Racan informed the delegation about the economic and social problems the new government is encountering as well as about the measures it is taking to drag the country out of the crisis.(hina) rml
