At the end of the Net Biz conference on the development of businesses via Internet, the sponsor of which was a Croatian firm Perpetuum Mobile, Milhench said the Small Enterprise Assistance Fund (SEAF) was active in 10 countries and it orientated its activities in the areas of Zagreb, Rijeka and Osijek in Croatia. For the time being its investments are in the agricultural production, electronic industry, technology and business services, but it would like to invest in Croatia's tourism as well. invested $2.6 million in 14 Croatia firms for three years, said

At the end of the Net Biz conference on the development of
businesses via Internet, the sponsor of which was a Croatian firm
Perpetuum Mobile, Milhench said the Small Enterprise Assistance
Fund (SEAF) was active in 10 countries and it orientated its
activities in the areas of Zagreb, Rijeka and Osijek in Croatia.
For the time being its investments are in the agricultural

Charles R. Aanenson, the head of the USAID (United States Agency for
International Development), the investor of SEAF-Croatia,
described the current situation as perfect time for investments as
Croatian economy is crying out for foreign investments. He stressed
that economy is a key to the success of the new Government and
Croatia itself.
