ZAGREB, April 5 (Hina) - About 1,500 employees of the "Belje" and "PIK Vrbovec" agricultural coops, continued to protest in front of the Government building in Zagreb Wednesday after their negotiating delegation informed them of the
Croatian Government's negative attitude toward their demands. President of the Agriculture and Food Processing Industry Trade Union Josip Pavic, after the talks with Vice Premier Slavko Linic, said the Government had no money for the financial reconstruction of their companies and for the payment of late salaries and asked that protesters go home. The protesters, however, refused to leave and demanded to be addressed by Slavko Linic. The answer came from the Government reading that Linic was at a meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund, and that he was to address the employees after the meeting.(hina) it
