ZAGREB, April 11 (Hina) - President of the Croatian National Sabor Zlatko Tomcic on Tuesday held talks with special coordinator for the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe Bodo Hombach on Stability Pact projects and the policy of the

Tomcic stressed Croatia had been supporting the Stability Pact from the very beginning, and that it was ready to give its contribution to peace and stability in the region, which was a condition for the realisation of Croatia's interest, namely joining EuroAtlantic integration, the statement read. Tomcic stressed Croatia had been supporting the Stability Pact from
the very beginning, and that it was ready to give its contribution

According to the statement, Tomcic said that the fundamental
condition for the stability in the region was the return of refugees
in Bosnaska Posavina and Banja Luka region. He expressed
satisfaction with a recently held financial conference on the
Stability Pact in Brussels, at which many Croatia projects received
financial support, adding however, that a deminig project did not
receive sufficient support.
Hombach pointed to the significance of cooperation between
parliaments of the Stability Pact countries and added that after
the financial conference in Brussels nothing was in the way of
carrying out Stability Pact goals. Hombach stressed Croatia needed
financial support, even though it was politically more stabile that
other countries in the region, the statement read.
