ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Stjepan Ivanisevic on Wednesday said Croatia supported the anti-corruption struggle. The minister was speaking at a meeting he and members of the government held with members of the
managing board of the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe Anti-Corruption Initiative. The meeting, the first of its kind in Croatia, tackled current and future actions in fighting corruption, the Justice Ministry said in a statement. Ivanisevic pointed to the great importance of fighting all forms of corruption, and expressed Croatia's willingness to implement all goals of the Anti-Corruption Initiative. The government has appointed the justice minister's assistant for penal law, Dubravko Palijas, high representative for the Initiative. Croatia has compiled a report outlining every legal and other step it is taking in fighting corruption.

Croatia has compiled a report outlining every legal and other step

a final report Stability Pact co-ordinator Bodo Hombach will
present at a donors' conference in Brussels on March 29 and 30.
Minister Ivanisevic presented the Anti-Corruption Initiative
managing board with a letter for Hombach, reaffirming the
obligations Croatia has taken in view of fighting corruption at a
Stability Pact working table on security held in Sarajevo on
February 15 and 16.
