ZAGREB, April 3 (Hina) - President of the Croatian National Parliament Zlatko Tomcic on Monday received the Israeli Ambassador accredited in Croatia, Nathan Meron. Tomcic and Meron agreed cooperation between the two countries should
be developed, the Parliament's public relations service secretary Zeljko Sabol said. Tomcic and Meron also agreed that cooperation between the two countries' parliaments should be established at the level of parliamentary foreign affairs committees, Sabol said. The two also agreed on the establishment of a parliamentary group of Croatian-Israeli friendship. Meron invited Tomcic to visit Israel, which he accepted, Sabol said. Croatia's first Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic will soon visit Israel, and Croatian President Stipe Mesic's visit to this country is also expected at the end of the year, Sabol said.(hina) lml jn
